Sorting
- All concrete pieces may contain reinforcements.
- Of the weight of the concrete load, the share of coarse soil, such as sand, gravel and aggregate (no fine soil) must not exceed 20%.
- Concrete waste must not contain quarry material or large boulders.
- Concrete must not contain harmful substances.
- There must be no ceramic slabs or tiles loose in the load, but individual pieces may be attached to the concrete.
Small waste loads
Car, van and trailer loads are accept all of our waste treatment sites.
Trucks
Concrete loads delivered by truck are accept in Kapula, Karanoja and Metsä-Tuomela. Concrete loads delivered by truck must be accompanied by a shipping document.
Karanoja and Kapula
Concrete, side measurement under 1 metre
- Also hardened mortars without packaging.
Concrete, side measurement 1–5 metres
- Hollow-core slabs, columns, beams.
Concrete, special pieces
- Concrete elements or pieces that are very large, difficult to break or store.
- Concrete loads containing natural stones. The diameter of the stones must not exceed 30 cm. For asphalt loads containing soil or stones, you must contact us in advance by email: tyonjohto[at]kiertokapula.fi.
Concrete, contains brick
- Of the weight of the concrete load, the share of brick must not exceed 10%. If there is more brick, it is classified as concrete that contains brick.
Concrete, wet
- concrete truck return loads
- surplus concrete from pump trucks
Aerated concrete
- Aerated concrete products, such as Siporex or Leca blocks.
Metsä-Tuomela
Wet concrete, i.e. surplus loads from concrete trucks, is not accepted at Metsä-Tuomela. Concrete and brick are placed in the same stockpile, separated by piece size.
Concrete and brick, piece size under 15 cm
- Clean crushed concrete and brick only.
- Must not contain reinforcements or other waste
Concrete and brick, piece size over 15 cm
- Aerated concrete products, such as Siporex or Leca blocks.
- May contain reinforcements.
- The share of waste and soil must not exceed 10% of the load.

Delivery of special loads containing concrete, wet concrete and large quantities must be agreed in advance by email: tyonjohto[at]kiertokapula.fi.
Loads containing harmful substances or contaminants are only accepted at Karanoja in Hämeenlinna. Waste containing harmful substances (e.g. oil or PAHs) or contaminants (e.g. insulation) should be tested before acceptance. Acceptance is decided based on the results. Delivery must be agreed in advance by email: tyonjohto[at]kiertokapula.fi
