The official waste management tasks of all of Kiertokapula’s shareholder municipalities are the responsibility of the joint Waste Management Board Kolmenkierto (only in Finnish) established by the shareholder municipalities. Its responsibilities include
- waste tariffs (only in Finnish), debiting and transfer to enforcement of waste charges, processing of invoice reminders;
- waste management regulations (only in Finnish) and deviations from them;
- deciding on the waste transport system; and
- deciding on the service level of waste management.
